Awesome Burger Recipe
I’ve had a hankering for a good burger lately, but never feel good after a full-on burger-n-fries at a burger joint. Last night, I made an awesome, healthier version of a juicy burger. It’s low in fat, high in fiber, vitamins and protein and so delicious & tasty!
The Skoog Turkey Burger:
Combine the following in a big bowl:
1lb ground turkey breast, thawed
1Tbsp worchestershire sauce
1Tbsp barbecue sauce
1 clove diced garlic
1/4 diced bell pepper
1tbsp diced red onion
pinch seasoned salt
pinch red pepper flakes
pinch ground pepper
Make into patties, cook on stovetop until burger is no longer pink inside.
Toast whole wheat burger buns. Top burger with 1/4 avocado, 1 slice tomato, 3 hamburger pickles, organic ketchup & mustard.
Serve with 12 sweet potato fries–yum!
