Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed clients transform themselves from bystanders to bosses. Dealing with fertility issues, career stagnation and long-shelved dreams are a breeze for women who push themselves physically. In fact, successful women like Michelle Obama and Gwyneth Paltrow make exercise a first priority of their day.

These women are ripe with ambition, confidence, mental clarity, empowerment and more — attributes that are found just outside of the ‘comfort zone’ in the gym. Faced with an emotional roadblock? Go find a hill and sprint up it 5 times. Or do 3 rounds in the boxing ring. Or squat as heavy as you can for 5 sets of 5 repetitions. Whatever your vice, do it with conviction…like you mean it. Prove that you’re stronger than your problems and they’ll diminish in size.

Nobody is going to do those pushups for you. Nobody is going to hand you that raise on a silver platter while you sit back and do nothing. If you want to get ahead in life, workout with a purpose. Commit to a specific program & see it through. Success comes in many forms. But hard work pays off both in and outside of the gym.
